  • Moments of Pause

    When the noise becomes too much and you find yourself working overdrive, you already know you need to pause.
     
    Your life is made of moments of pause. You pause to catch your breath after a long run. You pause when you’re surrounded by those you love, deeply immersed in feelings of joy, love and celebration. You pause when you know it’s time to make a change – whether internally or externally. You pause before you confidently voice your opinion. Use those moments of pause to catch your breath.
     
    You might not get everything ‘right’ the first time, but you wouldn’t be where you are now if you didn’t notice all the pause points that make up your life. You’re deserving of these moments to pause.
     
    Life isn’t lived in fast forward, always working and never resting. It’s healthy to pause, reflect, catch your breath, reassess, find clarity and move forward once more. When you pause, the noise of the outside world fades into the distance and you clearly hear the guidance of your intuition. It’s always there. It’s always guiding you. It’s always whispering to you the importance of pausing to catch your breath.
     
    Your life is made of moments of pause. Take a depth breath and remember to pause before you release that exhale.

    You’re infinitely more capable than you give yourself credit for. You’re realise your level of commitment and determination when you set yourself a goal you’re unsure whether you’ll achieve. It’ll take your time, focus and energy. In those moments when you feel like quitting, remember the commitment you made to yourself in the beginning.

  • Searching for More of Me

    For a long time, I tried to make myself fit into jobs, relationships, hobbies, ideas of who others wanted me to be… but they weren’t really me. I watered myself down, I kept quiet, I observed but didn’t use my voice to express myself. Behaving in this way was never being true to myself. It was never the real me. I’d outgrown being less of myself.
