    Things can – and will – look different in one year’s time, in two year’s time… think back to who you were four years ago. Nothing is the same. The work you’re doing, the environments you’re putting yourself in, the people you’re surrounding yourself with – they’re all different. You four years ago was dreaming of the life you’re living now. What felt like giant leaps then now suddenly feel like baby steps. But it’s the baby steps that will get you closer towards the giant leaps. Always.

  • Another Reality

    Life will ask you (sometimes unfairly) to accept the highs and the lows, especially when you feel torn between the two. Life will ask you to question your judgements and beliefs and ask you to find another perspective. Life isn’t always black and white.

     

    You don’t always have to accept the version of the truth that’s presented to you. There’s always another reality waiting in the wings for you to become open to it.

     

    One person’s “Why?” might be another person’s “Why not?” How can you question your current reality more often? What are you not seeing? How can you see things differently? What have you missed? …What’s waiting for you in the wings?

    When you remove the distractions of living from habit rather than with intention, you’re much more conscious of how you feel. You suddenly realise the discomfort exists to awaken you to the fact that you’re stepping towards another level of growth. It’s there to remind you of your strength (even if you don’t feel strong in the moment).

    You’re inspiring those around you without knowing it. Even when you feel like you’re doing less than you could be, or performing at a level less than what you feel you’re capable of – you’re giving other people a runway.
     
    Within you, they see potential. Within you, they see strength. Within you, they’re given motivation to continue their own path with even more determination.
     
    Compliments are confirmation. Confirmation that what you’re doing is being noticed. But the best compliments are the ones you’re not anticipating receiving – that’s when you know you’re inspiring those around you without knowing it. That’s when you know you’re on the right path, too.
