You Need Your Best Self
You’re not invincible. Try as you might to hold it all together, know that it’s ok to let it go. Long-term, you can’t work at 100% effort all the time. It’s not sustainable. Your body will call out for you to stop. Your mind will fight it, thinking you’re managing exceptionally well…and you might be. Until you’re not.
The pieces don’t all sit with you. Relieve yourself of the weight of responsibility. Look to others for guidance and support. You’re never alone. You need to give yourself the best opportunity of success in all areas of life by looking after yourself. Your health always comes first. Don’t ignore the signs that you need to slow down. You need to slow down in order to speed up. It’s unhealthy to wear yourself down, trying to please others.
Your most vivacious, bold self is what we’re all craving. It’s ok to stop. It’s ok to ask for help. It’s ok to do what’s best for you. It’s ok. It’ll all be ok. Take a big, deep breathe.
Set aside some time to just be – no one needs anything from you, but you need yourself… You need your best self. Get comfortable with the quiet, in this space you’ll hear the most.
