Prioritise Yourself

There are times when your body is craving rest and relaxation, but you’re subconsciously avoiding it. Resting doesn’t take away from all the hard work, consistency and energy you’ve been giving. Resting is necessary for repair and growth. Resting is necessary for your mind and body. Resting is vital to your welling-being. Resting is pivotal for every stage of growth – whether it’s mental or physical.
 
Your body is craving rest and it’s important you listen to it. Otherwise, it’s easy to work yourself to the point of exhaustion. It’s easy to push away having some down time. It’s easy to put yourself last. What’s not so easy is taking a break for a little while and setting aside any looming tasks. They can wait.
 
It doesn’t need to be long, but you need to continually prioritise yourself so you feel re-energised and ready. Take the time to rest, your mind and body need it.
