Goals & Growth
Rewind to the start of 2022 and I had some big goals to realise; an elusive new 9-5 job, participate in a 10km+ run, improve my physical fitness and build a business I love.
Fast forward to the present and I’ve achieved these goals – and the year isn’t over yet! Now, these goals feel effortless and like they were already mine before I achieved them. These goals were ‘easy’ because I’d done so much work in the previous year to make them a reality. While the lead up was anything but easy and I questioned whether I could achieve these goals, I never considered quitting. I made the conscious decision to keep going, even if I didn’t know when these goals would materialise. I showed up. I stayed focused. I believed it would all happen. I believed in myself.
Your belief in yourself is what builds your confidence. You don’t need someone else to cheer you on. Tune into your intuition cheering you on. She’s always there. She’s always listening to what you want. She always believes in you. She knows your wildly capable of achieving your goals – and then some.
Now that I’m here and there’s still so much more of the year to come, it’s time to set my sights on new goals. Running a faster 10km later in the year, continuing to improve my physical fitness and strength and sharing more of myself in my business are some of my key goals – and I know they’re all well within my reach.
Going after your goals doesn’t need to be an overwhelming leap outside of your comfort zone, but they do need to have a deeper meaning for you in order to stay motivated to achieve them. In the process, you might even push your comfort zone without realising it!
