Don't Give Up on Yourself

Don’t give up on yourself. You don’t know when your breakthrough is going to arrive. The strength of your mindset is what will get you over the finish line. Often, it’ll happen when you’ve released your attachment to the outcome and returned to your “why.”
 
It’s all in your mind. The inner voice that’s cheering you on is doing so for a reason – it’s because you can do it. How you speak to yourself matters. What you say to yourself matters. Your words matter.
 
Remain consistent in working towards your goals and dreams. This quality will determine whether you’ll achieve them. It’s not about being better than anyone else but yourself. Choose to be better for yourself.
 
One thing I’ve realised while doing my second round of an 8 week fitness and nutrition challenge is that mindset work is paramount in all aspects of life. The ones you observe quitting before time is up? The ones who walk during a longer distance run? The ones who don’t take risks? Their self-talk is telling them it’d be easier if they just stopped or didn’t push their comfort zone – I’ve been there. Their inner critic is telling them they can’t, instead of reminding them that they can (you always can).
 
I’ve done plenty of personal development over the years and I can say without a doubt that it’s made such a difference to my mindset. I can be both physically and mentally strong – and you can see that in my effort in my workouts and longer runs which I’m extremely proud of. I know I can do it.
