Celebrate Your Achievements

When you’re used to downplaying your achievements, it can be easy to brush off what you’ve worked so hard to create. But what if you didn’t this time? What if you celebrated how hard you’ve worked, how consistent you’ve been and how much this means to you? How different would you feel for acknowledging your achievements more openly?

Self-acknowledgement can be the one of the biggest and best things you can do for yourself. You don’t need to wait to be celebrated by others, celebrate yourself first. The need to be seen, heard and loved can come from within - any form of validation will feel more fulfilling when you give it to yourself. Then when others acknowledge your achievements, it’s a boost to your confidence, but it’s not your sole form of validation.

This practice is something I’ve begun to adopt with more of a carefree attitude, and it feels so good to be acknowledging how hard I’ve been working – and the results truly speak for themselves. I don’t need validation from anyone else (although it is lovely to receive!) and wow, it feels incredibly empowering to be coming from this place.

I’d love to hear in the comments what achievements you’re proud to be celebrating x
